Cupid really is a match maker.
Michael and Danielle met on okcupid in November 2016 when Danielle changed her minimum height requirement from 5’10” to 5’9”. She messaged Michael and they began talking. After a slightly awkward first date, they agreed to meet again two days later to see a movie. Their first date was supposed to be dinner and drinks at a local restaurant called Brick House Tavern + Tap. However there was a long wait, so instead of waiting they ventured across the parking lot to Joe’s Crab Shack where Danielle forced Michael to eat calamari which he hated. After dinner they went back to Brick House, got drinks and talked for hours outside in the cold by the fire.
From there, some of their favorites dates have been trips to Knoebels amusement park, where Michael has great memories as a kid, and going out to where Danielle learned Micheal’s talent for stuffing 10+ french fries in his mouth at a time, with the ability to still hold a conversation.
How he proposed…
Michael told Danielle her Valentine’s Day gift was late. The day the ring was arriving he said they should go to Fernandes Steakhouse. While Danielle was getting ready she said the gift better not be an engagement ring. At this point, Michael handed her the ring box and said “well?”. And the rest is history.
Today, they share two dogs, Butch and Bronson, both are involved in health and wellness with Danielle being a Physical Therapist Assistant and Michael a Physical Therapist, and their future goal is to get married, save for early retirement, and explore the world together. Sounds like a pretty solid plan to me!
Our time together shooting engagement photos was so fun and effortless.
These two really have no problem being sweet and silly with each other in front of the camera. The shoot was so much fun and we got to talk a bit about the upcoming wedding. Because of everything going on in the world right now, like many other couples, Danielle and Michael have had to make some changes to their wedding plans. However, even in the face of this, this couple remains strong, positive, and focused on the things that they can control. I really admire that about them. So, without further ado, check out Danielle & Michael!
Beautiful video and pictures.
Beautiful music & lyrics. Beautiful couple. Congratulations.
